AYESHA

CurleyStreet (Creator) partnered with U.K based charity iPartner (Producer) and APSA (The Association for Promoting Social Action)

In continuation of last week’s topic of sexual exploitation. I want you to watch Ayesha’s story (name changed to protect her identity). Ayesha was forced into flesh trade by her own husband. She valiantly put up a fight only to be violently silenced by her captors. The Ayesha we meet is poles apart from the one that was rescued from a brothel. Alone, angry and afraid, she was raped everyday for months on end. That Ayesha was bitter, angry and did not believe in any good in the world. There has been no looking back though, since the day she was rescued. Brick by brick, she has rebuilt her life and discovered how mentally and physically strong she is.

Read, watch, share and show your support. It’s the least we can do.
