LET’S HEAL THIS WORLD…

A virus, we hear, is on a world tour.
On a rampage, to scare and share the flu.
Age no bar, no nationality it has spared
The good men and the bad, equally being dared.

We mortals, with the fear of the unknown
decided to stay in and away, from this killer at large
checking on the news for its proximity
from our own address, every second hour.

Spreading panic, shedding humanity
Hoarding ration, breaching the rules
Sparing no thoughts
for the one’s sans a roof

Amidst all this selfish silence
As humanity decays,
The nature being oblivion
proceeds her journey, to her usual cliché

The blue-sky ogles into its vastness
The breeze puffs through each lane,
the birds perform a musical recital
to heal the natures pain

Whilst the trees wave, rattling in the free clear wind
The sky rests in peace
the clouds now spared, as no plane tears them
with its five hundred knots speed

It’s time to pause
This time won’t last too long.
Spring some positivity around, Don’t let any human frown.

Blessed are these days
Don’t cloud them with fear
Hold conversations with your soul
It has a lot to say and listen to my dear!

We shall live, and we’ll have stories to tell.
You have it in you, the power to change.
Let’s heal this world
with our good thoughts and prayers.
