I have always been passionate about writing and dwelling in the magical haven created by words. I completed my graduation from Mount Carmel college in Bangalore and had an inclination towards English literature right from the start. It has been a year of self rediscovery since I started writing poetry as a way of catharsis. I admire people who have the courage to be who they are, un-apologetically. Sylvia Plath, Haruki Murakami and Roald Dahl are few of my favorite writers. The quote by Plath that best defines me is “I took a deep breath and listened to the old bray of my heart. I am. I am. I am.”
I aspire to bring about a change in people through my words, to make the world a kinder, happier place.
