MY GIRLS!

Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte. I am sure many of you have heard these names.  Growing up, I often wondered if I will ever be able to find these girls in my life. Can I share with them my darkest secrets? Can they confide their love and heartbreaks to me and more than anything will they love fashion like I do? As life goes on and we tend to get more involved with our husbands and our children will these we draft apart?

Entrepreneurship is a lonely business. You make mistakes, you learn from them, you fall down and when you do, along with your family there are these girls, your girls, your friends who will pick you up and take you for a drink, who will cry along with you and who will laugh at all your silly jokes. Don’t let them go – ever. A woman is another woman’s strength. You need them for wisdom, to vent, to cry and to help as you get through life.

I already have these four girls in my life and more. Thank you for being my strength, you know who you are. Happy Women’s Month!
