HAVE YOU FOUND YOUR TUNE YET?

There are many women I know whose talent is known only to their close circle of friends and family. A cousin who can play the violin like a champ, an aunt who has been writing soulful poetry, a grandmother who loves dancing or a friend from school who can whip up some mean cupcakes! Some of them are content keeping a low profile and there are some others who are keen to convert their passion into a business, but get caught up with life in general.

After interviewing at least a 100 women, I know we hesitate because we imagine the worst case scenarios, are afraid of failing, hate to be judged, are waiting for the right time…the list goes on. What sets these 100 women apart from the rest is that they started out in the same situation as described above, but they decided to conquer their fears, put aside all the over-analysis and go with their instincts!

So far you’ve met women who are at various stages in their journey, but today I would like you to meet Angeleena Andrews, who is going to start hers and it’s called Dough Re Mi through which she promises to bring you the freshest of home-baked goodies from cupcakes to cookies to banana breads, brownies and so much more!

We got talking about the how, the why and the why now and Angie said that, “Dough Re Mi was on my mind for as long as I can remember baking – which has also been a long journey. But, I always wondered if I could actually pull it off. I baked at home frequently for family and friends and the encouragement of my ever-supportive husband and siblings, got me to wonder why not!” and she then adds with a twinkle in her eye, “Cheer for me because I am here now and there is no turning back!”
